Dear Writers;

Whotleberry Press is now calling for new submissions for a new anthology, entitled: "To Form A More Perfect Union" (The phrase comes from the preamble to United States Constitution: "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union...."

What does that "more perfect union" require?

For example, a group of people have landed on a habitable planet; how can they organize to make sure their community thrives? And what unexpected disaster threatens it? How do they deal with it?

Or, what if a longtime stable community suddenly finds itself facing a problem that never happened before; and now seems likely to end the community. What now?

Or how does a long-established dynasty grow weak, and a new one seems likely to replace it? Can the "old dog" learn new tricks? How did the "new dog" get so smart?

But wait, there's more! What about unions between a male and a female (species, your choice!) What constitutes a more perfect union there? And... what could go wrong?

And then there are unions between man and machine? Who is joined? Why and... why not?

We look forward to your submission.
